Cellph Made

Submit your cellphone pic gems through email or twitter.  Show's gonna be fun.

Modes of production change. The fingers in pigment used for cave paintings gave way to brushes and aerosol cans. Glass plates gave way to rolls of film. Now the democratic photo, which up til recently wasn't considered "Art", is capable of being produced with the cellular phones we all carry on us. We know that pixelation will soon be the equivalent to the nostalgic allure of film grain, the once derided sign of low production value.  We know that there will be an early '00s digital camera filter for your images in the coming future. So for the love of images, democracy, and the future we're bringing you a cellphone photo exhibition open to everyone.

Wild Yaks

Wild Yaks. Bombastic sing along soundtrack for the modern sailor/"freelancer". They were nice enough to play an art opening of mine in NYC for free a while back. There's a place in my heart for sing alongs.  There's a place in my heart for rock bands.Their new album came out yesterday and is fucking great. Support' em. http://ernestjenning.com/ or Itunes.
